Jump, capture & restore artifacts in this solitaire-inspired puzzle of Marajoara art!
In Marajoara, players take on the role of archaeologists uncovering and restoring the ancient ceramic artistry of the Marajoara culture, an indigenous civilization that once flourished on Marajó Island at the mouth of the Amazon.
Over 14 rounds, you'll manage a museum, excavate artifacts, reconstruct a monumental ceremonial vase, and curate exhibitions to earn prestige and victory points.
At the heart of the game lies a clever action selection system inspired by the classic “Peg Solitaire”. Players select dice from a central board by jumping over others in straight lines, capturing them in the process. The die used to jump increases in value, creating a strategic layer as players manipulate dice not just for immediate actions, but also for positioning and timing future moves.
Each captured die triggers a specific action based on its color: whether you're digging up shards, restoring pieces, or preparing your museum for visitors. Alongside these core actions, players can perform free actions, recycle resources, and progress their research track to improve efficiency.
With minimal downtime, elegant spatial logic, and a strong thematic connection to Brazilian heritage, Marajoara offers a fresh puzzle-driven experience. Its unique blend of cultural storytelling and solitaire-inspired mechanics makes it an engaging and memorable game for puzzle lovers and euro enthusiasts alike.
