In Bag & Baggage (Mala & Cuia), each player faces an unpredictable scenario that demands clever packing and sharp deduction. At the start of every round, a Situation card reveals a unique challenge: anything from surviving a polar expedition to escaping a labyrinth of clones. From a shared pool of ten diverse Item cards, each participant secretly selects exactly four essentials, including one Bonus item tailored to the round’s special requirement. Once all choices are recorded, players reveal their packed contents simultaneously. In Cooperative Mode, the group works as a single team: everyone collaborates to deduce each other’s selections. The more correct matches the team makes, the higher is the score. This fosters discussion, creativity, and shared “aha!” moments as players pool insights and refine their guesses. Switch to Competitive Mode for head-to-head rivalry: instead of teaming up, each player aims to mirror the majority’s picks. Every time you pack an item chosen by one or more opponents, you gain points, with Bonus items offering additional rewards if your guess aligns with theirs. This dynamic incentivizes psychological play. Will you anticipate the table’s consensus or carve your own path?
